WMtec 2450W PSU for HP C7000

This WMtec server power supply delivers 2450 watts for HP C7000 blade enclosures. It replaces part numbers 588733-001 and 570493-101 and matches the DPS-2450AB model. The unit is new and built for direct installation in compatible chassis. It targets administrators who need a like-for-like replacement module.

Capacity and headroom for blade workloads

The 2450W rating supports fully populated compute blades and associated interconnects within the C7000 enclosure. It runs out of headroom when total blade draw exceeds the rated output or when redundant n+1 configurations lose a second module. Buyers who need higher wattage per slot or support for a different enclosure form factor cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

Will the 2450W unit work alongside the existing 570493-101 power supplies already installed in my C7000 enclosure?

Yes, it is built to the same 588733-001 specification so it will share the load with any other 2450W modules already present in the C7000 chassis.

Which LEDs on the DPS-2450AB front panel confirm the supply is operating normally after installation?

A steady green AC OK LED and a steady green DC OK LED indicate that input power is present and all output rails are within specification.
