DELL R520 and T420 replacement unit

This 550 watt server power supply is built as a direct replacement for DELL R520 and T420 systems using part numbers 096R8Y, DH550E-S1, DPS-550PB, F550E-S0 or 2G4WR. It fits the original chassis and connector layout without modification. Administrators maintaining these platforms can restore full power redundancy with a single module.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The unit delivers up to 550 watts through the standard server backplane while its internal fan curve responds to load and inlet temperature. Under typical rack workloads the fan runs at moderate speed, keeping acoustic output low in a cooled aisle. Power draw at the wall matches the connected load plus normal conversion losses.
