Hot-plug redundant 700 W power supply for Dell PowerEdge R805 servers, supports 100-240 V input at 50/60 Hz
This 700W hot-plug redundant power supply is built for the Dell PowerEdge R805 server. It delivers up to 700W of continuous power and accepts 100-240V input at 9.3A across 50/60Hz mains. The unit is designed as a direct replacement for part numbers G193F and YN055. It suits administrators maintaining existing R805 infrastructure.
The hot-plug design allows removal and insertion while the server remains powered, provided a second redundant unit is active. Slide the module into the chassis bay until the latch engages; no cable routing inside the server is required. A common issue is attempting a single-unit swap without a functioning partner, which causes immediate power loss. Verify the redundant partner is healthy before pulling the failed module.
Confirm the server model is PowerEdge R805 and cross-check the existing PSU label against part numbers G193F, YN055, 7001423-J000, Z700P-00, N700P-S0 or NPS-700BB A. Ensure the rack or chassis provides the correct redundant bay and that the mains supply falls within 100-240V at 50/60Hz. This unit will not fit non-R805 Dell servers or standard ATX cases.

After hot-plugging the unit into the R805, verify the server powers on and check the front-panel LEDs or iDRAC status for a healthy power-supply reading.
The hot-plug redundant PSU module itself is supplied; no separate cables are required as it connects directly to the R805 backplane.
All listed numbers refer to the same 700W unit for the PowerEdge R805; choose whichever matches the label on the module you are replacing.
