Kit contents and intended use

This kit bundles a 750W server power supply, a twelve-port breakout board and twelve PCIe 6-pin to 6+2-pin cables. It targets builders who need to feed multiple graphics cards or compute accelerators from a single high-output unit.

Cable length and gauge constraints

Each cable measures 50cm and uses 18AWG conductors, which limits how far the breakout board can sit from the cards and the current each lead can safely carry. The twelve connectors share the unit’s total 750W budget, so aggregate draw must stay within that ceiling.

Replaces loose adapter assemblies

The kit replaces improvised sets of individual adapters and separate PSUs that clutter mining or render rigs. The jump is worth it when a build demands twelve PCIe power inputs from one compact, server-grade source.

Questions about this item

Which kit version should I choose if I need multiple GPU power connections?

This single kit includes one 750W DPS-750RB A unit, a 12-port breakout board and 12 cables, giving you up to twelve 6+2-pin connectors from one power supply.

What does the 750W rating mean for a mining or GPU rig?

The 750W maximum output is the total power the DPS-750RB A can deliver across all twelve PCIe cables combined, not per cable.

What interface does the breakout board use and what does it limit?

The board takes the server PSU's native 12V output and distributes it through twelve 6-pin sockets, capping the system at the unit's 750W total.
