Compatible Replacement Kit

This set supplies two ear pads and one headband cushion made for the A40TR headset. It is intended for owners who need to refresh worn originals without replacing the entire headset. The parts attach with a magnetic buckle for a secure fit. No other accessories are included in the package.

Sponge Material Limits

The cushions use a sponge construction that delivers soft contact and passive noise isolation during sessions. Sponge compresses over time and will eventually lose its original rebound. It also absorbs moisture, so heavy perspiration can accelerate wear compared to leather or protein leather alternatives.

Two Pad Options Included

Buyers choose between protein leather or flannel surface finishes to match personal comfort preferences. Both options share the same underlying sponge core and magnetic attachment method. The kit covers the two ear cups and the headband, restoring the full contact surface of the headset.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the protein or flannel ear pads?

Protein pads give a smooth leather-like feel and tighter seal for isolation, while flannel pads are softer and more breathable for long sessions.

How does the magnetic buckle headband change daily comfort?

The magnetic buckle lets the headband snap into place quickly and spreads weight evenly, reducing pressure points during extended wear.

What does the sponge material mean for heat build-up?

Open-cell sponge allows airflow through the pads, so ears stay cooler than with solid foam or sealed leatherette cushions.
