Replacement Ear Pads for DT 1770.

These black sponge ear cushions are designed as direct replacements for compatible Beyerdynamic headphones. They restore comfort and acoustic isolation when original pads become worn or damaged. The package includes a pair of pads ready for tool-free installation.

Tool-free installation with friction mounting

The pads attach to the headphone earcups using a friction-fit design that requires no tools or adhesives. This allows users to swap cushions quickly at home. The supplier notes a potential 1-2 cm variance in manual measurements and advises that monitor settings may cause the displayed colour to differ from the actual product.

Sponge material determines long-term comfort

The pads are constructed from black sponge, which governs how they conform to the head and seal against ambient noise. Buyers who prefer velour, leatherette or hybrid materials for different tactile feel or durability should verify this material suits their preference before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Which colour option should I pick for my DT1770 or DT1990 Pro?

The pads come in black or grey; choose black to match the original look or grey for a lighter contrast — both fit the 1770, 1990 and MMX300 models.

How much do these pads change the sound isolation on my headphones?

The soft sponge material seals around the ear to block outside noise, restoring the isolation you lose when original cushions wear out.

What mounting style do these use and will they stay secure?

They stretch over the existing ear-cup rim without tools or clips, so installation takes seconds and the elastic grip keeps them in place during use.
