WMtec DB44 44-pin male-female extension cable 5m

SKU CH-0CZM-7EWQ5

Extends a 44-pin DB44 connection by five metres with pure-copper male-to-female wiring for CNC programmer signals

  • Pure copper conductors ensure reliable signal transmission
  • 44-pin 3-row layout matches CNC programmer interfaces
  • Male-to-female design extends existing cables without adapters
  • 5-metre length provides flexible routing in workshop setups

Industrial CNC signal extension

This 44-pin DB44 male-to-female cable extends the connection between a CNC programmer and its controller by five metres. Pure copper conductors carry low-voltage data signals across three rows of contacts without adding active circuitry. The straight-through wiring preserves pin-out so existing machine tool interfaces remain compatible. It suits workshops that need to reposition control panels away from the machine envelope.

Thermals noise and power draw

Passive copper construction generates no heat and requires no external power supply. The cable adds negligible resistance to the signal path, so the host controller sees the same electrical load as a direct connection. No fans or active components mean silent operation in noise-sensitive shop floors. The assembly is not rated for high-current power delivery or outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 44-pin male-to-female extension cable without bending the pins?

Align the 3-row 44-pin connector carefully with the port, press straight in until fully seated, and secure the retaining screws before routing the 5 m cable away from moving CNC parts.

What maintenance or replacement will the pure copper DB44 signal wire need over time?

Inspect the 44-pin connectors and copper conductors periodically for oxidation or bent pins; replace the cable if signal errors appear during CNC programming sessions.
