  • New condition guarantees full performance out of the box

DB44 extension cable for CNC equipment

This 44-pin male-to-female cable extends the connection between a CNC programmer and its controller. Pure copper conductors carry signals over a 1.5 m run without adding bulk to the workstation. The three-row DB44 layout matches legacy industrial interfaces exactly. It suits technicians who need a longer reach on existing wiring looms.

Replaces shorter or damaged DB44 leads

Use it when the original cable is too short for a revised machine layout or when a worn lead causes intermittent faults. The extension avoids rewiring the whole panel and keeps the same pin-out. It is not for users who need a different pin count, a fibre-optic link or a ruggedised outdoor rating.

Questions about this item

What connector spacing does the DB44 male end need on the equipment panel?

The cable uses a standard 3-row 44-pin DB44 male connector that matches the common D-sub panel cut-out for this pin count.

Which orientation should the male plug face when inserting it into a CNC programmer port?

Align the wide row of the 3-row 44-pin male connector with the wide row of the female port, then press straight in until the screws engage.
