Questions about this item

How do I install the DPS-400AB-4A into the HP DL320 G6 and what step is often missed?

Slide the DPS-400AB-4A into the power bay until the latch clicks, then secure the retention screw; the step often missed is tightening that screw, which keeps the unit seated under vibration.

What maintenance or replacement will the DPS-400AB-4A need later?

The internal fan is the only moving part; plan to clean dust from its intake every 6–12 months and replace the whole supply if the fan becomes noisy or the unit fails to start.
