Compatible replacement earpads

These earpads are designed as direct replacements for DT770 and DT880 headphones. They address worn-out cushions that degrade comfort and acoustic seal. The spongy foam material conforms to the ear without distorting the driver output. Gamers and audiophiles seeking restored isolation will find them suitable.

Long-term foam behaviour

The soft foam compresses gently under sustained clamping force rather than collapsing flat. This maintains a consistent seal around the ear during extended sessions. Durability is built into the material choice so the pads retain their shape over months of daily use. No hardening or crumbling is expected under normal indoor conditions.

Fit and material limits

The pads are manufactured to match the DT770 and DT880 mounting profile only. They will not attach to other headphone models or generations. Sponge foam absorbs moisture over time, so users in humid environments may notice faster wear. A 1 to 2 cm measurement tolerance means the fit can feel slightly loose or tight depending on the specific unit.
