Replacement Ear Pads for 3/III Headphones

These protein-skin ear pads replace worn or damaged cushions on compatible 3/III headphones. The soft elastic material conforms to the ear and helps isolate outside noise. They are designed to improve sound fidelity for a more vibrant listening experience. Installation is simple with an easy mount and detach mechanism.

Passive Noise Isolation and Comfort

The protein-skin surface creates a seal that reduces ambient sound without active electronics. No power draw or battery is involved, so there is no added noise or heat. The pads measure 6.5 x 6.5 x 2 cm or 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.7 in and add negligible weight. They stay comfortable during extended sessions.

Upgrade From Worn Original Cushions

These pads suit owners whose original cushions have cracked, flattened or peeled. The jump is worth it when the old pads no longer seal properly or cause discomfort. They are not for listeners who want a different sound signature or a thicker pad profile. The package includes one pair of ear pads only.

Questions about this item

How do I install the WMtec ear pads on my 3/III headphones and which step do people usually mess up?

Stretch the protein-skin pad over the driver housing until the inner lip clicks into the groove; the step most users miss is seating the lip evenly all the way around so no gap remains.

What upkeep will these protein-skin pads need and when should I replace them?

Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth when it feels sticky; replace the pair once the material cracks, flattens or no longer seals against your ears.

What is the first comfort limit I will hit during long listening sessions with these 6.5 cm pads?

The 2 cm thickness compresses over time, so the initial clamp force that feels fine at first becomes the limiting factor on extended wear.
