Compatible replacement ear pads

These replacement ear pads are made specifically for Bowers & Wilkins Px7 headphones. They arrive as a single pair and use a sponge core covered with ice silk cloth fabric. The pads slide onto the existing mounts without tools, restoring comfort and seal in minutes. No retail packaging is included.

Ice silk cloth surface changes feel and hygiene

The ice silk cloth cover feels cooler against the skin than standard protein leather and resists moisture build-up during long sessions. The football-pattern texture adds grip so the pads stay centred on the ear. Because the material is wipe-clean, it stays fresher over time compared to porous foam-only designs.

Sponge core and elastic fit maintain isolation

The elastic foam core compresses evenly around different ear shapes, preserving the passive noise isolation the Px7 relies on. Dimensions of 105 by 80 by 18 mm match the original profile, so the headband clamp force and acoustic tuning remain unchanged. Buyers who need a different fabric finish or a thicker pad for deeper seal will need another option.

Questions about this item

How often do the ice-cloth ear pads need replacing?

The sponge cushions compress with daily wear; plan to swap them once the foam no longer springs back or the ice-cloth surface shows pilling.

What fails first when the pads are worn for hours at a time?

Heat builds behind the 105 x 80 mm protein-leather face before the 18 mm foam core loses its seal.

Do the pads get hot or noisy during all-day listening?

The ice-silk cloth stays cooler than leather, and the closed foam blocks outside sound without adding any mechanical noise.
