Replacement Pads for MDR-7506 and MDR-V6

These protein leather and memory foam cushions fit Sony MDR-7506 and MDR-V6 headphones. They restore comfort and isolation when original pads wear out. The set includes one pair for straightforward user installation. Ideal for studio monitoring and daily listening.

Passive isolation with 20 mm thickness

Dense foam and soft leather create a seal that reduces outside noise without active circuitry. The 20 mm profile maintains driver distance for consistent tonal balance. Materials stay pliable during long sessions and resist heat buildup. No power or electronics are involved.

Upgrade from flattened or cracked originals

Swapping hardened factory pads brings back bass response and wearing comfort. The jump is worth it when seal loss lets sound leak in or out. Not suited for headphones other than MDR-7506 or MDR-V6. Buyers needing different mounting patterns should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install these ear pads on my MDR-7506 headphones, and what is the step people often miss?

Stretch the protein faux leather and memory foam cushions over each ear cup; the step many miss is aligning the inner lip evenly around the 9.3 x 7.5 cm oval so the 20 mm thickness sits flat without gaps.

What maintenance or replacement will these pads need later?

The memory foam and faux leather will compress and wear with daily use; plan to replace the pair when the 20 mm thickness noticeably thins or the surface begins to crack.

What limit shows up first during long listening sessions?

The on-ear design presses against the ear cartilage, so comfort fatigue typically appears before any acoustic change from the foam cushions.
