Compatible Models

These replacement earpads fit the DT131, DT231, DT234, DT235 and MMX1/2 headsets. They are sold as a single pair and arrive without retail packaging. The flannelette covering adds a soft fabric layer over the sponge cushion. Buyers who need leather or mesh finishes should look elsewhere.

Build Integration

The pads measure approximately 88 by 70 millimetres and slide onto the existing earcups without tools. No adhesive or clips are required, so the original headband and driver housings stay untouched. Installation takes seconds and leaves the headset’s folding mechanism and cable routing unaffected.

Capacity and Headroom

The sponge core retains its shape during long sessions and the flannelette surface resists pilling under normal indoor use. Heavy outdoor exposure or high-humidity workouts will degrade the fabric faster than the foam. One pair restores comfort to a single headset; a second headset requires another set.

Questions about this item

How long will the 88×70 mm flannelette pads stay comfortable during all-day listening?

The soft sponge core and breathable flannelette surface are designed to reduce ear fatigue during extended sessions, though individual comfort varies with headband clamp force.

Do the pads trap heat or make the headphones noticeably warmer after hours of use?

The open football-mesh fabric promotes airflow around the ears, helping to dissipate heat better than solid leather or protein-leather alternatives.

Which Beyerdynamic models do these replacement pads fit without modification?

They are sized for DT131, DT231, DT234, DT235 and MMX1/2 headsets; other models may need stretching or are incompatible.
