Headband Cover for Gen 2 ANC Headset

This elastic loop cover fits the first- and second-generation ANC headsets, protecting the original band from dirt, abrasion and hair oils. The zipper closure lets you remove it quickly for washing or replacement. Soft foam padding adds a cushioned feel without changing the headset’s clamping force.

Dirt resistance and comfort in daily use

The cloth surface resists dust and skin oils, so the headband stays cleaner during long listening sessions. Foam underneath distributes pressure evenly across the crown, reducing hot spots that can appear after an hour or two. The cover adds negligible weight and does not trap heat against the scalp.

Behaviour during extended wear

Because the cover is a simple fabric sleeve with foam, its thermal and acoustic properties remain constant no matter how long you listen. There are no active components to degrade, no adhesive to soften and no moving parts that could loosen. The zipper stays closed under normal movement, keeping the protector in place for the duration of each session.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the elastic headband cover onto the Gen 2 headphone band?

Stretch the cloth loop over each end of the headband, then pull the zipper closed to secure it; the elastic material grips the band without tools.

What upkeep will the cover need over time?

Unzip the cover, remove it from the headband, and machine- or hand-wash the cloth and foam; air-dry before refitting to keep the band clean and hygienic.

Will the zipper or elastic loosen during long listening sessions?

The elastic cloth stretches to fit snugly around the Gen 2 band, and the zipper stays closed under normal movement, so the cover remains in place during extended use.
