Delivers 240W to OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small-form-factor desktops
The WMtec F79TD unit is a 240W server power supply built for Dell OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small-form-factor desktops. It matches part numbers F79TD, 3YKG5, JNPVV and PH3C2 and accepts a universal 100-240V input at 4.0A, 50-60Hz.
This supply replaces Dell models L240AS-00, H240AS-01 and AC240AS-01 when the original unit fails or shows unstable voltage rails. The upgrade is worth it only if the system stays in its stock SFF chassis and power draw remains within the 240W rating.
Installation follows the usual SFF procedure: remove the side panel, unplug the motherboard and drive cables, slide out the old PSU and slide this one in using the same mounting points. The main risk is confusing the proprietary Dell connector pinout with standard ATX wiring, which can damage the motherboard.

Yes, the power supply is listed for OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 SFF models, so it matches the 7010 small-form-factor case.
Not seating the main power connector fully into the motherboard socket; the plug must click into place or the system will not start.
The internal cooling fan is the only moving part and typically wears out before the electronic circuitry.
