WMtec Headband Cover for ATH MSR7 MSR7B

This faux leather cover protects the headband of Audio-Technica ATH MSR7 and MSR7B headphones. The black material shields the original cushion from scratches and daily wear. It is designed for owners who want to keep their headphones in new condition at home or in the office.

For ATH MSR7 and MSR7B owners needing headband

Buyers who need a complete earpad replacement set should look elsewhere, as this package contains only the headband cover. Users unwilling to disassemble their headset and solder wires during installation should also consider other options.

Soldering required for installation

Fitting this cover demands taking the headset apart and welding internal wires back together. No tools, fasteners or additional parts are included in the box. Verify you have the necessary soldering equipment and skill before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the faux-leather headband cover add noticeable weight or trap heat during all-day listening sessions?

The cover is a thin faux-leather wrap that adds negligible mass and does not change the thermal feel of the original MSR7/MSR7B headband.

Must I already own Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 or MSR7B headphones for this cover to fit?

Yes — the cover is cut specifically for the MSR7 and MSR7B headband; it will not fit other models.

Will I need to re-use the original MSR7/MSR7B headband padding and wiring when I install this cover?

Installation requires disassembling the headset and re-soldering the wires, so the stock padding and cable assembly are re-used.
