Replacement Headband Pads for Porta Headphones

These foam pads replace worn or missing cushions on Porta headphones. The high-elasticity sponge material resists compression and feels soft against the head. They are sold as a single pair without the headphones themselves. Buyers who need a different size or shape for another headphone model cannot use this set.

Vibration-Damping Foam Changes Listening Feel

The 1.6 cm thick foam attenuates vibrations between the ear and the headset to deliver more vibrant sound. Black colour matches the original aesthetic of most Porta bands. No adhesive or tools are required for installation. Users who want a leather or velour surface instead of open-cell foam will not find that option here.

Critical Fit Dimensions: 3.21 cm by 1.6 cm Thickness

Each pad measures approximately 3.21 cm across and 1.6 cm thick, so the headband width must match this footprint. Manual measurement tolerance of up to 1 cm means slight variation is possible. Builders modifying non-Porta headbands should verify compatibility before ordering.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1.6 cm thick foam pads need replacing?

The foam pads are designed as a replacement for worn or lost originals; their lifespan depends on daily wear and storage conditions rather than a fixed interval.

What is the first comfort limit noticed during extended listening sessions?

The 3.21 cm by 1.6 cm dimensions set the contact area; if the pads compress beyond the 1.6 cm thickness, pressure distribution changes and becomes the limiting factor.

Do the pads trap heat or cause sweating after hours of use?

The open-cell foam structure allows airflow, but the 1.6 cm thickness adds insulation; heat build-up will vary with ambient temperature and personal sensitivity.
