A 1200W server power supply compatible with ProLiant DL580 Gen6 and Gen7 systems and Bitcoin mining, accepting 100-240V input
This 1200 Watt server power supply carries model number HSTNS-PL11 and part numbers 490594-001, 438203-001 and 498152-001. It is a new unit built for Proliant DL580 Gen6 and Gen7 servers. The supply also supports BTC mining workloads. It delivers up to 1200 Watt of power.
The PSU accepts 100V at 10A, 110V to 120V at 10A and 200V to 240V at 7.8A, all at 50Hz to 60Hz. This wide range suits standard mains in many regions. Builders using 200V to 240V circuits see lower current draw at full load. Systems limited to 100V or 120V circuits must budget for the 10A requirement.
The unit is confirmed for Proliant DL580 Gen6 and Gen7 servers and for BTC mining rigs. It is not for servers or workstations outside that validated list. Buyers needing redundant hot-swap frames for other chassis should look elsewhere. Miners requiring different connector layouts must verify pinouts before purchase.
