  • Gold-finger connector enables hot-swap replacement

1280 W redundant server PSU

This WMtec power supply delivers up to 1280 W of output power in a 1U redundant form factor. It accepts an AC input range of 200-240 Vac at 8-6 A and operates on 50-60 Hz mains. The unit connects via a gold-finger edge connector designed for compatible server backplanes.

Suited for 200-240 V rack deployments

This PSU suits administrators upgrading or servicing existing redundant power shelves that match the gold-finger interface and 1280 W rating. Buyers who need a different input voltage range, a non-redundant form factor, or a different output connector should look at alternative units.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PWS-1K28D-240 in a 1U rack chassis and what step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the hot-swap bay until the gold-finger edge connector seats firmly; the latch must click to lock the PSU in place, otherwise the 200-240 Vac input will not engage.

What maintenance will the PWS-1K28D-240 need during its service life?

Periodically vacuum the intake vents to keep airflow clear for the internal fan; the unit has no user-replaceable parts, so a failed module is swapped as a whole.
