Compatible Headphone Models

These replacement earpads fit the MDR-7506, MDR-7510, MDR-7520, CD900ST and V6 headphones. They are sold as a pair of ear cushions without any additional accessories. Buyers who need a different mounting style or a model not listed here will not be served by this item.

Material Options and Comfort

The pads use high-elasticity leather or cloth mesh surfaces over sponge cotton for a soft, durable feel. Five finish choices are offered: wrinkled leather, protein leather, cloth mesh, black sheepskin and white sheepskin. Users who require active cooling gels or memory-foam cores will not find those technologies in this product.

Upgrade and Replacement Use

The earpads restore comfort and isolation when original cushions have worn flat or cracked. Swapping them extends the useful life of the supported headphones at low cost. Buyers whose headphones have damaged mounting rings or non-standard baffle diameters will not be able to install these pads.

Questions about this item

How do I install the replacement earpads on my MDR-7506 headphones without tearing the mounting lip?

Stretch the wrinkled leather or protein earpad opening over the plastic ear-cup rim, working evenly around the circumference until the inner lip seats fully in the groove; rushing one side causes the lip to roll and tear.

Which component of the WMtec earpads wears out first and requires replacement?

The internal sponge cotton compresses and loses rebound after extended daily wear, reducing seal and comfort; the leather or cloth cover remains intact longer.

What comfort limit appears first during long listening sessions with the sheepskin option?

The dense sheepskin traps heat against the ears, so warmth buildup becomes noticeable before the sponge fatigues or the headband clamps.
