Replacement Earpads for Sony MDR-1R Series

These replacement earpads are designed for Sony MDR-1R series headphones including the MDR-1RNC, MDR-1R MK2, MDR-1RB, MDR-1RBT, 1ADAC, MDR-1A, and 1ABT models. They restore comfort and isolation when original cushions wear out. The pair includes left and right pads for a complete refresh. Buyers with other headphone models will need different pads.

Protein Leather and Memory Foam Construction

The pads use protein leather covering thick memory foam padding. This material combination provides a soft, durable surface that reduces friction against the ears during extended listening sessions. The foam conforms to the ear shape for a secure seal. No other materials or coating types are specified.

Passive Comfort and Isolation

The memory foam cushion creates a gentle seal around the ear that helps block ambient noise without active electronics. Protein leather remains supple and does not generate heat buildup during normal indoor use. Installation is a simple press-on process requiring no tools or adhesives. No power or signal connections are involved.
