Compact dual-band USB 3.0 adapter

The Wodgreat AC1300 adds 802.11ac Wi-Fi to any desktop or laptop through a USB 3.0 port. It delivers up to 400Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867Mbps on 5 GHz with two adjustable 5dBi antennas. The adapter weighs .04 kg and includes a driver CD for older operating systems.

Broad OS support with driver fallback

Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP and 2000 are supported alongside Mac OS 10.9 through 10.15. Windows 10 and 11 work plug-and-play; earlier Windows versions and Mac require the supplied driver. Buyers needing native Mac support beyond 10.15 or Linux kernel drivers should look elsewhere.

Steady throughput under load

Ventilation slots on the housing dissipate heat during prolonged transfers, keeping the link stable when streaming or gaming for hours. The USB 3.0 interface provides 10 times the bandwidth of USB 2.0, preventing the bus from becoming the bottleneck during sustained dual-band traffic.

Questions about this item

Does my computer need a USB 3.0 port to use this adapter?

It works with USB 2.0 ports as well, but the USB 3.0 interface is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 and delivers the full AC1300 performance.

Will this adapter work with my older Windows 7 laptop?

Yes, drivers are included on the CD for Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000, while Windows 10 and 11 support plug-and-play.

How can I confirm the adapter is connected at 5 GHz speeds?

Check the wireless status in your OS; a link rate near 867 Mbps indicates a 5 GHz connection, while 400 Mbps indicates 2.4 GHz.
