Wooster Q3208 Angle Sash Brush

The Wooster Q3208 is a 1-1/2 inch angle sash brush designed for cutting in trim, corners and edges. Its soft synthetic bristles suit all oil and water-based paints on smooth or medium surfaces. Painters and DIY users reach for it when precision matters more than coverage speed.

Soft Synthetic Bristles And Beavertail Handle

The nylon-polyester blend holds paint evenly and releases it smoothly across brick, concrete, drywall, metal and wood. A brass-plated steel ferrule resists corrosion while the plastic beavertail handle balances comfortably during long sessions. Bristles measure 7/16 inch thick by 2-3/16 inch long for consistent flow.

Replaces Worn Or Stiff Cutting-In Brushes

Swap it in when an old brush leaves streaks, loses its edge or feels too firm for detailed work. The soft stiffness and angled tip improve control on window sashes, moulding and tight joints. It is not suited for broad wall areas where a wider flat brush or roller covers ground faster.

What handle and ferrule dimensions let it fit a standard grip?

The beavertail plastic handle and brass-plated steel ferrule fit a standard hand grip and extension pole threads.

How is the brush prepared before first use, and what step is often missed?

Rinse the synthetic nylon/polyester bristles to remove loose filaments, then spin dry — many skip the spin and leave excess water in the ferrule.
