Wooster Brush Company R240-14 14" Paint Roller Cover 1/2" Nap Knit Fabric

14" Roller Cover for Semi-Rough Surfaces

This Wooster R240-14 roller cover measures 14 inches in overall length and features a 1/2 inch nap knit fabric construction. It is designed for use with standard cage and yoke roller frames. The cover suits flat paints, satin paints, stains and waterproofing coatings on brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood surfaces.

Capacity and Headroom on Semi-Rough Texture

The 1/2 inch nap holds sufficient coating for semi-rough textures such as brick, concrete and masonry while still performing well on drywall and wood. It delivers a low-sheen finish with flat or satin paints. On heavily textured or deeply pitted substrates the nap may not reach every crevice, requiring additional passes or a thicker cover.

Limits of Standard Cage and Yoke Compatibility

This cover fits standard cage and yoke frames including models 8614, BR412-21, BR047-18, BR036-18 and R017-14 with a 1 1/2 inch core diameter. It will not secure properly on frames with different core sizes or non-standard mounting styles. The polypropylene core resists solvent degradation but does not adapt to incompatible frame dimensions.
