Right tool for rough surfaces

The Wooster Brush Company R241-4 is a 4 inch mini paint roller cover built for rough textures. Its 3/4 inch nap knit fabric holds plenty of coating for brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood. The cover suits flat paints, satin paints, stains and waterproofing products.

Knit fabric holds more coating

The knit construction loads and releases material evenly across low sheen finishes. A 1 1/2 inch polypropylene core resists solvents and keeps its shape during extended use. This cover matches cage style frames such as the F0010-4 and R022-4 for a secure fit.

Built for repeated jobs

Polypropylene core material stands up to cleaning cycles without breaking down. The 4 inch width fits tight corners and trim work where larger rollers cannot reach. Buyers needing wider coverage or smoother surface finishes will need a different cover.

Questions about this item

How often will the 3/4 in nap knit fabric cover need replacement on rough surfaces?

Replace the cover when the nap wears down or stops holding paint evenly; lifespan varies with surface roughness and paint type.

What limits continuous rolling on brick or concrete?

The 3/4 in nap loads heavily on rough masonry, so frequent reloading and frame fatigue become the practical limits.

Does the polypropylene core soften or the knit fabric shed during all-day use?

The polypropylene core resists softening and the knit fabric is designed for low shed, keeping heat and debris minimal during extended work.
