9″ Adhesive Applicator Sprayer

The Wooster R245-9 is a 9 inch adhesive applicator with a 1/8 inch nap woven fabric cover. It is designed for smooth surface textures on drywall, metal and wood. The cover fits standard cage style roller frames.

Check frame compatibility and paint type

Verify that your roller frame accepts a standard cage cover with a 1 1/2 inch core diameter. The applicator works with oil based and water based paints. Confirm the surface is smooth before use.

Pair with compatible frames for efficient coverage

The cover matches frames such as BR549-11, R017-9, R030-9, R402-11, R404-11, R405-13 and R501-9. A polypropylene core resists solvents during cleaning. The woven fabric releases adhesive evenly across the surface.

Questions about this item

Does the 9" adhesive applicator include a roller frame or must I buy one separately?

The cover fits cage-style frames such as the BR549-11, R017-9, R030-9, R402-11, R404-11, R405-13 and R501-9; the frame itself is not included.

When should I choose the 1/8" nap woven fabric cover over other nap sizes?

The 1/8" nap is designed for smooth surfaces — drywall, metal and wood — and works with both oil-based and water-based paints.

How does the 1/8" nap perform on smooth drywall when rolling oil-based paint?

The short nap lays down a thin, even film on smooth drywall, reducing stipple and helping oil-based paint level out without excess texture.
