The 276 roller cover for semi-rough walls

This 9 in roller cover uses a 1/2 in nap knit fabric to hold more paint on textured surfaces. It fits standard cage frames and a 1 1/2 in polypropylene core. The cover is designed for flat and eggshell paints on brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood.

Nap size and surface match

The 1/2 in nap is the specification that determines coverage on semi-rough textures; a shorter nap would leave gaps and a longer nap would carry excess paint. The knit fabric and core diameter are built to work together on the listed materials.

Cage frame compatibility and paint types

It slides onto any standard cage roller frame without tools and is rated for flat and eggshell formulations. The polypropylene core resists solvent breakdown while the knit cover releases paint evenly across large wall areas.

Questions about this item

What does the 1/2 in nap size mean when I am rolling paint onto a wall?

The half-inch nap holds enough paint for semi-rough surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood while still releasing it evenly with flat or eggshell paints.

How does the cage-style frame compatibility affect which roller frames I can use?

The cover slides onto any standard cage-style roller frame with a 1 1/2 in core diameter, locking in place without tools.

What physical space do I need to store or mount this 9 in roller cover?

The cover measures 9 in long with a 1 1/2 in polypropylene core, so it fits in a standard paint tray and hangs on a typical roller hook.
