9" Knit-Fabric Roller Cover

The Wooster R281-9 is a 9-inch paint roller cover built with knit fabric and a 3/4-inch nap. It fits standard cage frames through a 1 1/2-inch polypropylene core. The cover handles flat, eggshell, satin, stain and waterproofing coatings on rough surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood.

Upgrade from thinner naps

A 3/4-inch nap holds substantially more material than 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch covers, so fewer reloads are needed on textured walls. The jump is worth it when the surface is rough enough that a thinner nap leaves holidays or requires excessive pressure to fill pores.

Sustained loading on rough substrates
