Wooster Brush Company Softip 2 In. Flat Sash Paint Brush Q3108-2

Ideal for detailed trim and sash work

The Wooster Softip 2 In. Flat Sash Paint Brush Q3108-2 is designed for painters who need precise control on narrow surfaces. Its soft polyester filaments hold and release paint evenly across trim, window frames and detailed woodwork. The flat sash profile reaches tight corners that wider brushes cannot. Suitable for both oil and water-based coatings.

Check surface texture and coating compatibility

Before starting, verify the surface is medium or smooth as the soft bristles perform best on these textures. Confirm the paint base is either oil or water-based, which this brush handles without issue. Ensure the 2-inch width matches the trim or sash dimensions you plan to cover. The plastic Kaiser handle resists common solvents used in preparation.

Maintains shape during extended painting sessions

The synthetic polyester filaments retain stiffness and flagging after hours of continuous use on brick, concrete, drywall, metal or wood. Bristles resist matting when loaded with heavy-bodied coatings. The 9/16-inch thickness and 2 3/8-inch length provide consistent paint pickup across long runs. Clean-up remains straightforward with the appropriate solvent for the paint type used.
