Engineered for Low Pile Carpets

This clear vinyl chair mat is engineered specifically for low pile carpets that are 1/4" deep or less. A studded underside grips the carpet without piercing the backing. The textured surface lets a rolling office or gaming chair slide effortlessly without slipping. A beveled edge creates a smooth transition from mat to carpet to reduce tripping hazards.

Simple Placement and Common Pitfalls

Installation is as simple as unrolling the mat and positioning it under the desk with the studded side facing down. The vinyl may arrive with a slight curl from packaging and will flatten fully after a day or two of use. The main issue is using it on carpet thicker than 1/4", where the studs cannot hold and the mat will shift or buckle.

Check Carpet Depth and Desk Footprint

Before ordering, confirm your carpet pile is 1/4" or less so the studs can grip properly. Measure the area under your desk to ensure the 45 x 53 dimensions fit, noting the 12" lip that extends 25" wide beneath the desk for added protection. The mat suits the most common home and office desk sizes.
