Adult Floatation Aid for 90lbs Plus

The WOW Watersports Vis-Wave is a USCG Type III inherently buoyant life jacket built for adults weighing 90lbs and up. Its unisex design suits a wide range of body types and water activities including kayaking, paddleboarding and jet skiing. Bright blue colouring increases visibility for safety across varied water conditions.

Thermal Comfort and Buoyancy Performance

Lightweight polyester floatation wrapped in closed-sided nylon keeps the vest cool and light during extended wear. A soft inner lining reduces friction while wide armholes allow unrestricted upper-body movement. Inherently buoyant materials provide reliable floatation without inflation mechanisms that could fail or require recharging.

Adjustable Fit for Layered Wear

Adjustable straps with quick-release buckles secure the vest over swimwear or light thermal layers without tools. The flexible nylon shell moves with the torso rather than restricting paddling or boarding motions. Approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada, it meets regulatory requirements for recreational vessels where a wearable Type III device is mandated.

Questions about this item

How do I put on the Vis-Wave vest and adjust it so it won't ride up?

Slip the vest over your head, fasten each quick-release buckle, then pull the adjustable straps until the vest sits snug against your torso without restricting breathing.

What part of the Vis-Wave vest will wear out first and need replacement?

The nylon shell and stitching at the buckle anchors take the most stress; inspect them each season and retire the vest if fabric frays or seams separate.

At what weight does the Vis-Wave vest stop providing its rated flotation?

The vest is rated for users 90 lbs and up; below that weight it may not keep the wearer's head reliably above water.
