Dual-monitor KVM for four computers

This DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors control four separate PCs or laptops. It supports mirrored or extended desktop modes so each system can show different content on the two screens. The unit includes a wired remote and front-panel buttons for instant switching. A 12 V power adapter is supplied for stable operation.

Resolution and bandwidth limits

The switch passes video up to 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz and is backward compatible with 1080P at 60 Hz and lower timings. Each computer must provide two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs to drive both monitors simultaneously. USB 3.0 peripheral ports run at 5 Gbps, roughly 10 times the 480 Mbps ceiling of USB 2.0. No drivers are required on Windows, macOS, Linux or Unix platforms.

Four upstream ports decide the fit

Four DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.0 upstream connections are the fixed limit; the device cannot accommodate a fifth computer. Buyers who need to share five or more systems must look elsewhere. The two downstream monitor ports and four USB 3.0 peripheral ports are likewise fixed, so setups requiring three displays or more than four shared USB devices will not work with this model.
