Four-computer KVM with USB-C, DP and HDMI inputs

The WRIARICH 401C connects four computers — one USB-C, one DisplayPort and two HDMI — to a single HDMI monitor. One keyboard and mouse set controls all four systems, reducing desk clutter in offices, monitoring rooms, teaching spaces or home theatres. A 1.5 m wired remote and front-panel buttons both switch the active source, with LED indicators showing the current selection. The unit includes a 12 V power adapter and all required cables.

Passive cooling and external 12 V supply

The switch draws power from the included DC 12 V adapter, so no internal fan is needed and operation is silent. Power consumption in normal use stays low because the device only routes video and USB signals. The EDID emulator can be toggled on or off; when active it preserves each computer's display configuration during switching, preventing window rearrangement.

Metal enclosure with front USB 3.0 ports

The compact chassis measures six by three by one inches and weighs 300 g, fitting easily on a crowded desk. Four USB 3.0 ports on the front deliver 5 Gbps transfer speed and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, drives and cameras. HDMI 2.0 output supports 4K at 60 Hz and 2K at 100 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma; DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 cables are recommended for full bandwidth. Buyers who need more than one simultaneous monitor output or additional computer ports will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the USB-C, DP and two HDMI computers to the 401C and which step do people miss?

Plug each computer into its matching port — one USB-C, one DP, two HDMI — then connect the single HDMI monitor out; the step often missed is attaching the included DC 12V power adapter before switching sources.

What will need replacement after heavy daily use on this KVM?

The four USB 3.0 peripheral ports rated at 5Gbps and the 1.5 m wired remote cable are the parts most likely to wear out first with frequent switching and plugging.

What limit appears first when I run 4K 60 Hz on all four inputs for hours?

The HDMI 2.0 monitor output caps sustained bandwidth at 4K 60 Hz YUV 4:4:4, so extended multi-computer sessions hit that ceiling before the USB 3.0 5Gbps paths do.
