4K 60Hz Video and USB 3.0 Limits

Video passes through at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz using HDMI 2.0, with downward compatibility for 144 Hz at 2K and 1080p signals. Full 4K 60 Hz requires the source, the cable and the display to all support that rate. USB 3.0 ports carry peripherals at 5 Gbps; the unit draws power from the supplied 12 V 1 A adapter and does not operate without it.

Replaces Manual Cable Swapping

The switch removes the need to unplug and replug HDMI and USB cables when moving between two systems. It adds extension and duplication display modes, provided the host computer supports dual-display output.
