2-Port DVI Switch
This WRIARICH DVI switch connects two DVI sources to a single DVI display. It suits users who need to share one monitor between a PC, laptop, DVR or projector without unplugging cables. The unit handles single-link DVI signals only and does not support dual-link DVI sources.
Passive Operation
The switch weighs 0.522 kilograms and draws power from the connected devices, so it adds no fan noise or extra heat to the setup. Switching between inputs typically completes within two seconds, though actual time varies with the attached display. No external power supply is required for normal use.
EDID Memory and Compatibility
Both inputs and the output store EDID data, letting the switch remember the last active source after a power loss. Inputs and output are compatible with HDMI signals through passive adapters, but the device will not work with 2560 x 1600 resolution signals. Maximum supported resolution is 1600 lines.

Questions about this item
How do I connect the two DVI sources to the single display using this switch?
Connect each source to one of the two input ports with a DVI cable, then run a DVI cable from the output port to your monitor. Select the active input using the front-panel button.
Will I need to replace any cables or the unit itself to support higher resolutions later?
The switch handles DVI signals up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. It does not pass Dual-Link DVI, so resolutions above that require a different switch.
What is the first limitation I will hit during long sessions with this switch?
The unit does not support Dual-Link DVI signals, so 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz is the maximum resolution it can pass continuously.
