Two-port HDMI 2.1 bi-directional switch

This compact switch lets you connect two HDMI sources to one display or one source to two displays, switching manually between them. It is aimed at gamers and home-theatre users who need more HDMI inputs than their TV or monitor provides. The aluminium housing keeps the unit cool during extended sessions.

8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz headroom

The switch passes 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, with additional support for 4K at 144 Hz and 165 Hz plus 1080p at 240 Hz. Bandwidth is sufficient for current consoles and high-refresh-rate PC gaming, but it cannot drive two displays simultaneously.

HDR, VRR and eARC pass-through

Dynamic HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3 all pass through unchanged. Variable refresh rate works with both FreeSync and G-Sync compatible sources. The eARC channel carries lossless audio formats to a receiver or soundbar without extra cables.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K@120Hz switch work with my 1080p Blu-ray player and older console?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible and supports 1080p signals, so your existing Blu-ray player and older console will work through the 2.1 ports.

How can I confirm the switch is passing 4K@120Hz and VRR to my display?

Check your display's on-screen information menu; it should report 4K resolution at 120Hz with VRR active when playing supported content from a PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Does the box include HDMI cables for the two input devices and the display?

No, the package contains only the bi-directional switch unit; you must purchase three separate HDMI 2.1 cables to connect two sources and one display.
