4K60Hz HDMI Splitter with Audio Extraction

The WRIARICH splitter takes a single HDMI source and duplicates it to two displays at up to 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It simultaneously extracts audio through optical and 3.5mm outputs for connection to external sound systems. The unit is designed for mirroring only and does not support extended desktop modes.

Three EDID Modes for Audio Routing

Internal EDID processing provides three selectable operating modes. The 2.0 mode enables stereo PCM audio through the 3.5mm auxiliary output. The 5.1 mode delivers two-channel or 5.1-channel audio including PCM and DTS formats via the optical output. A reserved FD mode assists with abnormal display handshake situations.

18Gbps Bandwidth with Automatic Scaling

HDMI 2.0 compliance provides 18Gbps bandwidth supporting 4K60Hz 4:4:4, 1080p at 120Hz or 144Hz, HDR10 and HDCP2.2. When connected displays have different capabilities, each output independently scales 4K to 1080p or converts 4:4:4 to 4:2:0 colour space based on individual EDID requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm AUX jack need any special cable or adapter for long-term use?

The 3.5 mm AUX output works with standard stereo cables in 2.0-mode, which only carries PCM2.0 audio. No special adapter is required.

What is the first limitation that appears when the splitter runs continuously at 4K60Hz?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling of the HDMI 2.0 link is the first limit; it caps the signal at 4K60 4:4:4 and prevents higher refresh rates or bit-depths.

How warm does the metal case get and does the LED add noticeable heat during all-day operation?

The metal housing is designed for passive heat dissipation and the soft-light LED draws minimal power, so the enclosure stays only warm to the touch.
