Dual-computer KVM with two HDMI monitors

This KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and pair of HDMI monitors control two computers. Each computer must provide two HDMI outputs and each monitor needs at least one HDMI input. A wired desktop controller and front-panel buttons both change the active system, with LEDs showing the current selection. The unit is plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix.

HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and USB 3.0 limits

Video passes through HDMI 2.1 links capped at 7680x4320@60Hz, with backward compatibility down to 1080P@60Hz. All cables, GPUs and displays in the chain must support the target resolution or the link will fall back. Four USB 3.0 ports share peripherals at up to 5 Gbps, but keyboard hot-key switching is not implemented. DP-to-HDMI or HDMI-to-DVI/VGA adapters are explicitly unsupported.

Two-system desk sharing with 4 USB ports

The switch comfortably handles dual-monitor workflows such as coding on one PC while referencing documents on the other, and it shares up to four USB 3.0 devices like drives, printers or cameras. It runs out when a host lacks a second HDMI output, when a monitor has no HDMI input, or when a user expects hot-key switching or adapter-based video conversion.
