Three-computer dual-monitor KVM

The WRIARICH KVM302DP lets one keyboard and mouse control three computers while sharing two DisplayPort monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It is aimed at multi-system workstations, streaming setups or test benches that need simultaneous 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz video on both screens. Each connected PC must provide two DisplayPort outputs; converters are required otherwise.

Passive cooling silent operation

The unit runs without fans, drawing power from the included 12 V adapter to keep USB 3.0 ports stable even with high-draw devices such as external drives. No acoustic noise is produced and no thermal management is needed beyond normal airflow around the 6.3 x 2.56 x 1.18 inch chassis. LED indicators show the active computer at a glance.

Desktop integration needs

Three 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables and a 1.5 m wired remote are supplied, so the switch can sit within easy reach while the host machines stay tucked away. The box requires a free mains socket for the 12 V supply and two DisplayPort 1.4 cables per computer, each no longer than 1.5 m, to maintain full resolution. Without EDID emulation, desktop layouts may shift when switching or during boot.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the KVM302DP to three computers that only have one DisplayPort output each?

Each computer needs two DisplayPort outputs; if a PC has only one you must add an active converter or a second graphics port before connecting the supplied 1.5 m cables.

What ongoing upkeep does the 12 V power adapter require?

No scheduled maintenance is needed; keep the adapter ventilated and replace it only if the switch loses power or the LED indicators stop lighting.

At what cable length does 8K@60Hz signal quality start to degrade on this switch?

The supplier specifies a maximum single-cable length of 1.5 m; longer runs can cause resolution loss, flicker or no picture at 8K@60Hz.
