Bidirectional DP 1.4 switch

The WRIARICH TJ-A009 is a two-port DisplayPort 1.4 switch that routes one source to two displays or two sources to one display. It serves desktop users who need to share a single high-resolution monitor between a workstation and a laptop, or toggle a single GPU between two screens without unplugging cables. The unit supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz, passing 10-bit colour and HDR at up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. Audio up to 32-bit and 1536 kHz is also forwarded.

Build integration and flexibility

The switch requires an external 5 V DC power cable included in the box and connects via standard DP 1.4 cables, which are not supplied. A front-panel button swaps the active signal path in roughly one second while LED indicators show the selected port. Only one destination can be active at a time; simultaneous dual-monitor output is not possible. The compact 12 x 6 x 0.08 inch enclosure fits behind a monitor stand or inside a cable-management tray, freeing desk space otherwise needed for manual cable swapping.

Thermals, noise and power

Passive cooling with no moving parts means the device runs silently and adds negligible heat to a workstation. Power draw is limited to the 5 V supply needed for signal conditioning and the switching logic, so it does not affect the host system’s power budget.
