Short USB 3.0 Extension Cable

The WRIARICH USB 3.0 Extension Cable adds 13cm of reach to a USB A port on a computer, Mac or TV. It connects VR headsets, PlayStation accessories, flash drives, hard drives, card readers, mice, keyboards, printers, scanners and cameras. The male-to-female design plugs in without drivers on universal systems.

Sustained 10Gbps Transfer Performance

The cable meets the USB 3.1 Type A standard and delivers up to 10Gbps throughput during extended file moves or VR sessions. Gold-plated connectors maintain maximum conductivity and minimum data loss over long periods. Backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 devices is preserved at their native rate.

Upgrade From Short or Worn Cables

This extender replaces cables that are too short to reach rear ports or that have failed after repeated bending. The flat PVC jacket with aluminum alloy ends withstands more than 12000 bend cycles. Buyers who need a longer reach than 13cm or a different connector type should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 13 cm cable add noticeable heat or power draw when a VR headset runs all day?

The flat PVC cable with aluminum alloy connectors is passive, so it adds no active heat or power consumption beyond the 10 Gbps USB 3.1 link itself.

What must my computer already have for this male-to-female extender to work?

A standard USB Type-A port — USB 3.0, 3.1 or the older 2.0 version — is all that is required; no driver or extra software is needed.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and printers still work at their normal speed through this 10 Gbps extender?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, so they operate at their native rate without any configuration.
