WRIARICH USB4 Gen 3x2 Cable 1.5FT 40Gbps

This 1.5-foot copper-coloured cable carries the latest USB4 Gen 3x2 standard at up to 40Gbps. It delivers up to 240W power through PD 3.1 Extended Power Range and drives an 8K display at 60Hz or dual 4K monitors. Male-to-male USB-C connectors are bi-directional and reversible.

Suits users who need maximum USB4 speed

Ideal for connecting NVMe enclosures, eGPU docks or high-speed SSDs to laptops and hubs that support USB4 Gen 3x2. Not for setups that require longer cable runs or legacy USB-A ports. Buyers whose devices only support lower power profiles will not reach the 240W rating.

40Gbps USB4 Gen 3x2 throughput decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 40Gbps USB4 Gen 3x2 data rate combined with PD 3.1 240W power delivery. If the host and peripheral both support this generation, the cable enables full-speed transfers and fast charging; otherwise it falls back to the lowest common standard.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 1.5FT copper cable need behind a laptop or dock?

The 1.5FT length requires minimal rear clearance; allow a few centimetres for the USB-C male connectors and the nylon braid to bend without sharp kinks.

How do I seat the reversible USB-C plugs so the 40Gbps link and 240W PD 3.1 negotiate correctly?

Insert each USB-C male connector fully until it clicks; the bi-directional design means either orientation works, but a partial insert will fall back to lower speeds and power.

When should I replace the cable if the 240W charging or 8K@60Hz video becomes unreliable?

Replace it if the nylon braid frays near the strain relief, the metal shells loosen, or connected devices drop to slower USB speeds or lower power profiles.
