Portable 32-bit DAC and headphone amplifier

The WUQ D1 is a portable 32-bit DAC and headphone amplifier that also works as a preamp. It connects via USB or optical inputs to computers, phones or tablets and provides an RCA line output. The aluminium chassis measures 3.75 by 3.5 inches and includes a microfibre bag for transport.

Simple USB or optical connection with front volume

Plug the included USB cable into a computer, phone or tablet, or use the optical input for other digital sources. The front-panel volume knob gives precise analogue control and the unit draws power from the host device. No drivers are required for standard USB audio class operation on most modern systems.

Sustained high-resolution playback

A 32-bit ESS ES9018 DAC, ES9601C Sabre driver and CT7601CR USB streamer handle continuous high-resolution streams from services such as Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal. The aluminium body aids heat dissipation during long listening sessions, keeping performance stable without thermal throttling.
