Questions about this item

Does the WUQ Q2U need an external power supply or phantom power to run?

No, the microphone draws all the power it needs from the USB bus of a Mac, PC or iPad, so no separate adapter or phantom power is required.

What is the correct way to connect the microphone to a computer and which mistake should be avoided?

Plug the supplied USB cable directly into the computer; do not connect the XLR output at the same time, as using both interfaces together can cause signal conflicts.
