Questions about this item

How long can I sharpen pencils continuously before the helical cutter dulls?

The hardened helical cutter is built for moderate daily use at home and will stay sharp through many sessions.

Does the sharpener get hot or noisy during extended use?

It is a manual tool with no motor, so it produces no heat and only the quiet sound of the cutter against the pencil.

What surface do I need for the vacuum mount to hold?

The vacuum base requires any smooth, non-porous surface such as glass, tile, or polished metal to create a secure seal.
