Quiet Pro Sharpener for Classroom and Office

The X-ACTO 1612X electric pencil sharpener uses a break-resistant helical cutter and SmartStop feature to prevent over-sharpening. An ultra-quiet motor reduces noise distractions in shared spaces. A SafeStart motor halts operation automatically when the shavings bin is removed. The unit sharpens standard woodcase and colored pencils.

Corded Electric Operation with XL Shavings Bin

This corded model plugs into a standard outlet for continuous use without batteries. An easy-to-empty XL shavings bin holds more waste to reduce interruptions. The compact footprint of 12.8016 L x 16.891 W x 25.7048 H centimeters fits on desks or counters. Weighing 1.139 kilograms, it stays stable during operation.

Handles Woodcase and Colored Pencils

The sharpener accommodates nearly every woodcase pencil diameter, including colored pencils, for versatile classroom or studio use. SmartStop and LED indicators signal when the ideal tip is reached, preserving lead length. It is not suited for oversized jumbo pencils or non-woodcore media such as crayons or pastels.
