Classroom Electric Pencil Sharpener 1670

The X-ACTO 1670 is a heavy-duty electric pencil sharpener built for classroom environments. Its durable construction handles daily wear and tear from multiple users. A quiet motor delivers reliable power without disrupting lessons or study time. The unit sharpens both standard wood-case and colored pencils efficiently.

Flyaway Cutter and SafeStart Features

The flyaway cutter system automatically stops sharpening once the pencil reaches an ideal point, preventing oversharpening and reducing lead breakage. SafeStart technology halts the motor instantly when the shavings bin is removed for safety. These mechanisms protect both the user and the pencil supply during high-volume use.

Six-Size Dial and XL Shaving Bin

A six-size dial adjusts to fit nearly every pencil diameter found in a school setting. The extra-large shavings bin holds more waste, reducing the frequency of emptying during busy periods. This electric sharpener requires a standard power outlet and a stable desktop or countertop surface. It replaces manual sharpeners or lighter-duty electric models that cannot sustain classroom workloads.
