Questions about this item

How do I install the X-ACTO 1680 Crayon Pro Electric Sharpener, and what step is often missed?

Place the sharpener on a stable surface, plug it into a standard outlet, and ensure the shaving bin is fully seated — the SafeStart motor will not run if the bin is removed or loose.

What maintenance or replacement will the X-ACTO 1680 Crayon Pro Electric Sharpener need later?

Use the included cleaning brush to empty the shaving bin regularly and swap in the extra blade cartridge when the cutting mechanism dulls.

What limit appears first on the X-ACTO 1680 Crayon Pro Electric Sharpener under sustained use?

The SafeStart motor stops automatically whenever the shaving bin is taken out, so continuous operation pauses each time the bin needs emptying.
