It includes a soldering iron, two helping hands, five extra tips, a solder roll holder, brass and wet sponges, a solder sucker, 60/40 solder and tweezers. The kit suits intermediate users and experts who need a complete bench setup. ESD-safe construction protects sensitive components during assembly or repair.

Installation and common issues

The station plugs into mains power and the iron mounts in the spring steel holder on the side of the main unit. Temperature is set via the front panel with a blue LED readout showing both target and actual temperature. A sleep timer can be set to 0, 5, 10 or 30 minutes to extend tip life. Beginners sometimes leave the iron at maximum temperature, which oxidises tips faster; using the sleep function and cleaning on the brass sponge reduces this. The PID temperature control maintains stability within ±2 °C once the iron has settled.

Temperature range and power limits

The 75 W rating splits into 60 W for the iron heater and 15 W for the iron’s internal controller board. Maximum tip temperature is 480 °C, which covers most lead-free and leaded solders but may be insufficient for very large thermal masses such as heavy ground planes or thick connectors. The station operates only from the supplied mains voltage and has no battery or low-voltage mode.
